Many people dismiss chiropractic as being something only for back pain, but chiropractic treatment can be used to treat a wide variety of physical issues, such as migraines and headaches, chronic pain, carpal tunnel, pain due to injury or muscle strain, and much more.

Chiropractor Arlington WA Scott Peseau

Dr. Scott Peseau is a 1989 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He grew up in California, Venezuela, Kentucky, Alabama, and Florida. He is married to Dr. Rhonda Peseau and they have two children. Hannah (24) is currently enrolled in the dental school at OHSU in Portland, Oregon and wants to be an orthodontist, Will (22) graduated from Arlington High School and works at the Blue Bird Restaurant and at the local food bank as a volunteer.

Dr. Peseau has completed extensive post graduate training in the management of auto accident injuries, decompression therapy certification by the Kennedy Institute, and neuropathy treatment training by the Neuropathy Institute in Florida. Dr. Peseau has trained other doctors in Washington State on the use of the Erchonia cold laser and has developed proprietary methods of treating various conditions which other providers have poor success with. "My favorite patient is one who comes to our clinic after being told by many other providers that there is nothing that can be done and they will just have to live with their pain. Often, these patients have been mis-diagnosed and the beginning of their recovery journey in our office starts with just listening to their complaints and performing a comprehensive exam to arrive at the right treatment program which often results in spectacular recoveries"!

Dr. Peseau’s practice utilizes full chiropractic and physical rehabilitation services with deep penetrating laser, neck and low back decompression, infrared therapy, disc rehabilitation and neuropathy treatment. "I became a chiropractor to help people achieve greater health without drugs or surgery. My favorite thing about the office is that our patients often recover function after years of pain." Dr. Peseau has been in practice for over 29 years. "Our office caters to our patients needs. We adjust our treatments to what a patient can handle at any point in time. Patients often ask how we will adjust them, some are apprehensive of traditional manual adjustments, others specifically request them. Most of our senior citizens cannot tolerate heavier treatment methods and require a more gentle approach. Some patients can complete their treatment program quickly and others require treatment at reduced frequency due to their schedules or finances. We are sympathetic to everyone's needs and believe we can find a happy medium and treatment program for every patient. The end result is a happy, healthier patient that appreciates the individual approach that we offer.

Call us today, we look forward to meeting you, hearing your story, providing you with a correct diagnosis and a treatment plan that will work for you!  In his spare time, Dr. Peseau has been an advocate of exercise and finds time to go to hot yoga every day, and teaches his patients to adopt healthy diets and reduce obesity through exercise in a common goal of improving their health and ageing gracefully.

Chiropractor Rhonda Peseau D.C.

Chiropractor Arlington WA Rhonda PeseauI grew up with chiropractic. I come from a farming family in Iowa and my parents always took our family to the chiropractor for regular adjustments. When one of us was sick, the chiropractor would adjust us and we would always get better. When we injured ourselves, our parents took us to the chiropractor immediately and we would always get better. We didn’t have “growing pains” because we got adjusted regularly. I had several uncles that were chiropractors and they practiced into their late 80’s! One even owns the largest chiropractic table company in the world! So, when I graduated from high school, I didn’t have to think twice about a career choice. I have always wanted to be a chiropractor. I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic when I was 23 years old. When I first started practicing, my patients thought I was a teenager because I looked so young! I have been practicing since 1987 and my husband and I have owned and operated four clinics over the years, seeing hundreds of thousands of patients. I have a couple areas of practice in which I have become an expert. First, the practice of nutrition, which I see as the cornerstone of health and an area in which so many patients need help. Second area of expertise is excercise. There are so many theories about diet and nutrition out there that the typical patient is confused. Do we stay away from fats or are fats good for you? Is the Mediterranean diet better than the Atkins diet? Well, I have seen them all work and the key is eating the right foods at the right time, in the right amounts and balancing it all with regular exercise. Habits. This is the key, to develop great habits gradually and stick with them. I help patients achieve their goals and I always help them understand diet and nutrition and having a chiropractic lifestyle in simple and easy to implement steps. I advocate taking vitamins and supplements and have developed programs for countless patients that really improve their health and give them better quality of life. It is really about “ageing gracefully” because “ageing un-gracefully” is really shameful for a patient. Nobody is proud of being overweight and out of shape, and I help people overcome obstacles to being healthy in the long term and we do it using a team approach. I teach our patients that having a great functioning nervous system and joints is the cornerstone of health and then we build from that cornerstone by adding nutrition and exercise into the patient’s daily routine gradually, always in a way that does not overwhelm the patient. I want our patients to develop long term good health habits. Do I follow my own advice? Absolutely! I do some form of exercise daily for 30-60 minutes, usually hot yoga,  and my husband and I love to cook nutritious and delicious meals and we have raised our children to love healthy food and exercise. I would love to help you also, so if you are looking for a great, compassionate and knowledgeable chiropractor, please give our office a call and come in so we can help you with your pain or health complaints and point your life in a new, healthier direction. I look forward to meeting you!
